It’s technically called Lakeside DreamZZZ but I refuse to type that more than once
Secluded • Pet Friendly • Wrap-Around Deck • Private Lake Access • Kayak & Canoe • Grill • Hot Tub • Fire Pit • Extra Indoor Dining Space • WiFi • Multiple Nearby Cabins • End of the Road
(it’s also listed on a local site for a lower price)
Parking:
Limited to 4 spots, but at least that’s dictated by pavement and not cliffs. We will definitely need to carpool, and maybe leave the giant live-in van in Lex.
Sleeping:
The Queen + Double bedroom offerings are admittedly wonky, but the competitive price means we don’t have to load this thing to the gills.

For couples & fams:
There are several nearby cabins available, and a number of options at the $600-$800 price point.
All cabins are located near the start of the resort, before the roads get insane. None are terribly far from Lakeside and some, if not all, should be walkable. Use the map to estimate location.

My failed recon journey!
This is the full resort map with my route highlighted in green and the intended destinations circled (click to zoom). Note that the roads near the front of the resort are colored white, and those near the back are colored red— that should of been my first clue.
While the road to Honeysuckle Bridge is more level, it’s 100% dirt and was an absolute mud pit I didn’t dare risk. I love that property, but worry April rains could cause similar problems.
Lakeside Dreams is #25.
